Here it is a year later and my LLC is finally official.  I am a medicaid provider and will hopefully soon be a Blue Cross Blue Shield provider as well!  I am now in the process of building my clientele of children to provide speech/language therapy services.  In the meantime, here is an interesting read about how to promote language development in children.  Enjoy!

I have officially applied for my LLC from the Wyoming Secretary of State!  I am hoping to hear back from them before Christmas and get this veture off and running in January-February.  I have also applied for a National Provider Id number so I can become a medicaid provider as well.  I understand that outside speech therapy can be expensive and wanted to offer the services to more people.  I am still working on the numbers as far as half hour and hourly rate prices.  Please check back as I will continue to update this blog with more exciting news!

Welcome!

Welcome to A Time To Talk, LLC!  I am speech-language pathologist in Cheyenne, Wyoming.  I attended the University of Colorado at Boulder for my bachelors in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences and received my masters in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Northern Colorado.  Upon completing my studies, I moved to Cheyenne to work in a preschool that was geared to service children on Individualized Education Plans.  After several years there, I decided it was time to move to the elementary age level.  This year will be my 5th year in the school district.

I truly have a passion for speech pathology and love to watch children grow in their confidence and in their communication skills.  In addition, I have always had the professional goal of starting my own private speech therapy business and finally decided to make the goal a reality.  I am really looking forward to this opportunity to provide speech-language services in this setting.
